[edit] Description
Two different artists supplied the dark, supple artwork for this particular Celtic Tarot, producing a Waite-Smith clone, only for Minor Arcana, that essentially populates the familiar images with the seductive and violent spirits of Celtic mythology. Fey populate some of the cards, but the nudity and violence place this deck firmly in the realm of adult fantasy rather than "fairytale." The Majors, invented by the italian writer Giordano Berti [[1]] use Celtic deities and the each of the Minors, invented by Saverio Tenuta, depict a different Irish tribe from Celtic myth, but even if you are unfamiliar with the stories, Waite-Smith structure make this deck easily readable (and possibly useful for learning more about this Celtic myth).
Note: this deck attributes Wands to Air and Swords to Fire.
