Freemasonry and Tarot
From Tarotpedia
(Redirected from Freemasonry)
Freemasons have been involved since at least the 18th century in writing about, or in the design of, tarot. Court De Gebelin and Etteilla were two such Freemasons, and it seems certain that Comte de M* (Comte de Mellet) was likewise a Freemason.
Of course, this says no more about an intrinsic connection between freemasonry and tarot than a connection between tarot and horse-racing (which they likewise may have had an active interest in).
