[edit] Description

A clever, kitschy deck that has more going on than you might expect. The creators have used midcentury advertising artwork to create a Waite-Smith clone with a singularly 50s feel. In keeping with the retro "Leave It To Beaver" stylings, the Majors depict domestic forces encountered by any intrepid housewife and the Minor suits are brooms, glasses, knives, and plates. It even comes packaged in a faux recipe box. Hilarious and surprisingly intelligent.

[edit] Creator's comments

"The Major Arcana represents the various figures of inspiration and influence encountered by our hero, the housewife, on her long and perplexing journey. We empathize with the romances, conflicts, trials and tribulations of her restrictive suburban existence... Much like housework, the Tarot represents the cycle of life... "
