John Mangiapane is one of the original 100 Aeclectic members and is still an ongoing contributor to Aeclectic's Tarot Forum.
In 2004, his first Tarot book, It's All in the Cards: Tarot Reading Made Easy was published by Sterling. It has currently run through its third printing and had sold over 12,000 copies before going out-of-print.
John is also the editor of the FACT Tarot {First Aeclectic Collaborative Tarot} created on Aeclectic.net

John Mangiapane has had a varied life as writer, quilter, professional costume designer, retail manager, and casino banker. Introduced to Tarot in the early 1990s, Mr. Mangiapane has immersed himself into Tarot study and practice, teaching beginner classes, being a member and one-time moderator of several online tarot forums, and writing and publishing his first book - also on Tarot.
Mr. Mangiapane's writing includes both fiction and non-fiction, usually based on his life experiences.
As a quilter, Mr Mangiapane won many awards and Best of Show rosettes. One of his quilts 'Kaliedoscope: Broken Star' was purchased by quilt collectors Bob & Ardis james and added to their collection soon after its completion. Presently, that collection (along with Mr. Mangiapane's quilt) has taken up permanent residence at the International Quilt Study Center at the University of Nebraska.

- It's All in the Cards: Tarot Reading Made Easy, Sterling, 2004 [ISBN 1402709862] Aimed at the beginner with no knowledge of tarot, it is based on the classes Mr. Mangiapane teaches and received critical praise from The Library Journal. Currently out-of-print, Mr Mangiapane is seeking a second publisher or may go electronic.
- A second tarot manuscript tentatively titled Every Man's Tarot is completed and currently searching for a publisher. It concerns tarot interpretation from an all-male viewpoint.
