[edit] Description

The Kaleidoscope Tarot is a color and tarot divination system. All 78 cards from a traditional tarot deck (plus two additional cards for the elements of earth and spirit) are represented with a color and a symbol. The colors and symbols come from the attribution system created by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

Each card becomes a stained glass tile with a single symbol. Each Trump has its Elemental, Planetary or Zodical Attribution. The court cards are marked with p for page, k for Knight, Q for Queen and K for King. The pips are numbered 1 through 10.

Leisa also created the Tarot of Color and is the host of the The Tarot Connection Podcast.

The 'deck' was created using stained glass tools and a glass kiln. This Photo Album details the process.

[edit] Creator's comments

"There is a system and a tradition behind why Tarot Cards have the images, names and numbers that they do. For the past 200 years, the Hermetic Qabalah has provided a framework for Tarot and has given each card a rich set of attributions which can be used in readings if they are known."

I have created two ways to work with this system for divination. They can be used on their own or with a deck of Tarot Cards, Tarot of Color and Kaleidoscope Tarot."
