[edit] Description
The Leonardo da Vinci Tarot is a 78-card deck based on the art of the best known example of the Uomo Universalis (the artist who is both painter and sculptor, and also versed in mathematics, metallurgy, anatomy, military strategy, etc.): Leonardo da Vinci. Cards that feature some of his best known work include the High Priestess, which shows the Mona Lisa wearing a mitre, and those of the suit of Cups, many of which are based on elements of the Last Supper. The Major Arcana and Minor Arcana were each designed by a different artist, yet the unity of the deck is not lost and there is continuity in style and quality.
