[edit] Description

The so called "Mantegna Tarot" is not a Tarot deck and is not the product of Andrea Mantegna.

The Mantegna Tarot is a collection of fifty copper engravings divided in five groups, each containing ten images:

  1. Men
  2. Muses
  3. Liberal Arts
  4. Virtues
  5. Spheres

Two versions of the fifty images exist, commonly known as the E series and the S series. The engravings were produced in the second half of the XV Century.
