Old English Tarot

[edit] Description
A soft, pastel-tinted Tarot with muted artwork reminiscent of medieval tapestries and psalters. In fact, Kneen drew inspiration from illuminations in the 14th century Luttrell Psalter. The trumps harken back to the iconography of the Tarot of Marseille. The deck incorporates the Waite-Smith meanings, although the pips are mostly nonscenic, making use of repeated suit symbols with a small decorative scene to convey the cards meaning.
