[edit] Deck creation and/or publication process
First published in 1972 to accompany the book by Alfred Douglas, also first published that year. The deck remained in print for about ten years. In 2005 the decision was made to republish the deck. The colours of the original artwork had faded, so the black & white images were first scanned into a computer, then each image was tidied up and recoloured using a 1st edition deck as a reference. Minor errors and omissions found in the original cards - caused by printing limitations 34 years earlier - were corrected. All this work was carried out by Paul Wilson-Patterson and his team at The Electric Pencil design studio in Peacehaven, East Sussex (Paul Wilson-Patterson is David Sheridan's cousin). The deck was then printed to a high standard by Carta Mundi.
