[edit] Fairytale Tarot

I took Fairytale Tarot out of this list Tarot Decks: Elves, Fairies and Gnomes. It is a deck covering fairytales (e.g., Hansel and Gretel, etc.) but any coverage of elves, fairies or gnomes, if at all in this deck, is incidental. I don't own this deck, so please tell me if I've erred. --Aquarius Rising 18:55, 4 February 2006 (PST)

[edit] ah.. mistakes

Hi Aquarius Rising,

I came to the page because I saw a page had been created for Fairy Tarots, which turned out to be discussing the Fairytale Tarot. I moved the comments to the discussion of the Fairytale Tarot, changed the link here to the Fairytale Tarot, and deleted Fairy Tarots. I didn't realize that Fairy Tarots was the actual name of a deck with a pre-existing link.

What you've done with the page is great. Still.. not sure if the FairyTale and other similar tarots just might belong here as well as in the other section? Personally, if I was looking at the themes, I might have looked here for the Fairytale rather then realizing it was under Tarot_Decks: Stories, Tales and Literature.

Beyond the issue of whether the Fairytale belongs here, do we have any issues with having decks listed under several themes?

best,

robert

Robert ... I see no problem with having decks under several themes. The themes are there to sort decks in different ways, to help Taropedians discover unseen linkages between decks, as well as to help someone looking for a particular kind of deck. Sometimes a given deck will naturally fit under more than one theme. As a hypothetical example, a deck might be Celtic-themed, be fairy-themed and be Child-friendly. --Aquarius Rising 19:18, 4 February 2006 (PST)
