[edit] Description
Tarocco delle Collezioni (Puppet Tarot) is a full color, 78 card Tarot deck, printed on sturdy card stock. The fronts have a glossy finish and the backs are an unfinished green color and reversible. The titles are in Italian, as is the little enclosed leaflet. The box is a sturdy slip cover style, with inner sleeve, tied with ribbon. This is a numbered, edition of 2000 copies. The trumps depict marionettes & puppets most likely from traditional puppet theater dating back as far as the Renaissance era. Notes written sideways on some of the cards indicate what production that particular puppet was in and other such relevant information. The court cards seem to be made up of stage props the puppets might have on hand. The King's each have an antique pistol. The Queens feature carved masks. The Knights each display an antique toy vehicle. And most of the Page cards feature an old fashioned carved pipe that a puppet might use in a skit. The Minor Arcana have corresponding suit symbols.
