[edit] Description
Cynthia Giles intended Tarot: Methods, Mastery and More to be an "outgrowth" of her classic Tarot: History, Mystery and Lore and as such presents a series of ruminations on the possibilities and mature of Tarot. This is not a reading guide, nor a history, but rather a collection of abstract possibilities that illuminate different uses and truths of the study of Tarot beyond divination. Readers who eschew abstraction should steer clear. While not fluffy, this is not a practical book for the Tarot student, rather an eclectic, structured meditation on Tarot's outer limits...

Giles has a Ph.D. in Humanities, specializing in Jungian and archetypal psychology.
