[edit] Description

A 78-card deck in the standard tarot format. After creating the Gilded Tarot, artist Ciro Marchetti decided to follow up with a new deck which would contain deeper imagery and more references to traditional esoteric symbolism. In 2005 he self-published the Tarot of Dreams. Included with the physical deck is a CD-ROM which contains an original interactive program with animated card images and other extras including letterheads, wallpapers, and a full-length guidebook. The animated images are thoughtfully produced and reveal deeper facets of the imagery, and can be used for meditation. The Tarot of Dreams was voted as the number one most popular deck published in 2005 in the "Top Ten Most Popular Tarot Decks" poll on Aeclectic Tarot.

The Tarot of Dreams is a visual experience to delight and entertain you. The 80-card deck (including a reference card and a cover card) follows the Fool's journey through the Major Arcana and continues with fully illustrated Minors in suits of Wands, Cups, Swords and Coins.

The companion CD complements the deck with content and features that are unique to the tarot genre. Lee Bursten's text provides a comprehensive insight into the imagery, as well as the heritage of the esoteric symbolism that has been incorporated. The production of the Tarot of Dreams has been a very personal experience, an arduous but satisfying journey. I have provided some scenery along the way, but ultimately this journey is yours to take, one with no limits of time or distance. I hope you enjoy it.
