I've been exploring the Tarot for several years. My first deck, and still my favourite is the Dragon Tarot. I have also acquired a few other decks that I enjoy : the Vampire Tarot, and the Revelations Tarot.

In 2003, I started participating in a Tarot Share discussion group which meets twice a month. At that time, there was a member of the Builders of the Adytum (BOTA) who was also there and he introduced us to the Tree of Life and the Cube of Space. I've been fascinated by these glyphs ever since.

My interests in the Tarot lie in large part in the esoteric symbolism associated with the cards. It never ceases to amaze me how many symbols can be packed in a single card, either directly or indirectly, and how consistent the systems remain when mashed together. For instance, each of the cards of the major arcana can be assigned a distinct Hebrew letter, an astrological symbol (either a planet or a zodiac sign, depending on the type of letter (mother, double, simple)). Among the zodiac/simple letter cards, their assignment are in order, and they make sense with the main meaning of the card.

For example, the Lovers card, happens to be key 6, the seventh letter in Hebrew (add one to account for key 0=aleph) happens to be zain, which happens to be the third simple letter, and the third sign of the zodiac happens to be Gemini, the twins. To me, Gemini is the perfect sign for the Lovers. Admittedly, they don't all necessarily make this much sense on the surface, but when you dig a little more deeply, you start seeing the connections.

I've also recently been exploring the worlds of numerology and alchemy.

Outside the world of the occult, I practice the arcane art of programming. My language of choice is Java, but I've also been working with JavaScript, and XML's various spawns.
