[edit] Description

Tarots of the Renaissance is a lush, dreamy watercolor deck of vibrant colors and vigorous movement that eschews the popular Waite-Smith meanings for the Continental Tarot systems of Levi and Etteilla. Trevisan's images reference several old Masters, but paints in an evocative fairy-tale style that has very little to do with the historical Renaissance in tone or technique.
